Further analysis of data from the Phase 2 ENTRIGUE trial has shown beneficial lipid effects of the glycopegylated analogue of human FGF21, pegozafermin, in patients with severe hypertriglyceridaemia, irrespective of background lipid-modifying therapy (LMT). Of the 85 patients in the placebo-controlled study, 55% were on background LMT: 45% statin (55% of which were high intensity); 14% prescription fish oil; 7% fibrates.
