Risk weighted apoB (RW-apoB), a novel measure that integrates the particle number and atherogenic potential of LDL, triglyceride rich lipoprotein (TRL) and Lp(a), more accurately reflects total atherogenic burden and coronary heart disease (CHD) risk than LDL-C, non-HDL-C or apoB alone. This is the conclusion of Professor Jan Borén and colleagues from results with the new score devised using UK Biobank data.
