Olezarsen reduces the risk of acute pancreatitis (AP) by 85% in patients with TG levels ≥ 880 mg/dL (10 mmol/L), with nine patients needing treatment per year to prevent one case of AP.1 These are the key findings from a pre-specified sub analysis of data from 455 patients with a mean TG level of 1379 mg/dL (15.6 mmol/L) who participated in the CORE-TIMI72a and CORE2-72b trials.
